De fleste af os kender det. Små eller større skavanker sniger sig ind i hverdagen – når vi sidder, går, arbejder, gør rent eller rejser os fra gulvet.
Men skavanker er ikke kun noget, vi må leve med. De kan også være signaler om, at noget kan gøres lettere.

Forestil dig en hverdag med mindre anstrengelse, mere lethed og større nydelse i det, du gør. På dette retreat arbejder vi med Feldenkrais-metoden – en blid og effektiv måde at opdage nye muligheder i bevægelse og vaner.
I stedet for at fokusere på symptomerne undersøger vi nysgerrigt, hvordan vi bevæger os — og dermed opdager nye muligheder og variationer, som kan dæmpe eller endda fjerne skavanker.

Gennem små, langsomme og opmærksomme bevægelser skærper vi sansningen, opdager unødvendig anstrengelse og finder mere hensigtsmæssige måder at bevæge os på. Når hjernen får flere valgmuligheder, kan belastning fordeles bedre, bevægelser blive friere og ubehag mindskes. Det giver større frihed i det, vi gør til daglig.
Retreatet giver dig tid, ro og støtte til at fordybe dig i denne læring i de smukke omgivelser på Ørslev Kloster – en perle med natur, stilhed og nærvær.

Undervisningen varetages af tre erfarne Feldenkrais-lærere – Lukas Racky, Christian Zemp og Katharina Kamber – som gennem mange år har udviklet undervisning sammen. Udover daglig gruppeundervisning får hver deltager to individuelle enetimer (hands-on), og fordi vi er tre lærere, kan vi have særligt fokus på den enkeltes behov.

Undervisningen foregår på dansk og engelsk med mulighed for direkte oversættelse.

Vi nyder vidunderlig vegetarisk mad lavet af madkunstner Anni Guldborg.

Living with Greater Ease and Enjoyment — Even When Aches and Pains Arise


A stiff neck. A sore lower back. Knees that complain. Most of us know the feeling. Small or more persistent aches and pains gradually find their way into everyday life — while sitting, walking, working, cleaning, or simply getting up from the floor.
Yet discomfort is not only something we have to live with. It can also be a sign that there may be an easier way.
Imagine moving through daily life with less effort, more ease, and a deeper sense of enjoyment in what you do.
At this retreat, we explore the Feldenkrais Method — a gentle and effective approach to discovering new possibilities in movement, awareness, and everyday habits.
Rather than focusing on symptoms, we become curious about how we move. Through this exploration, we begin to discover new variations and possibilities that can soften — and sometimes even relieve — long-standing discomfort.
With small, slow, attentive movements, we refine our awareness, sense unnecessary effort, and discover more efficient and comfortable ways of moving. When the brain has more options available, strain can be distributed more evenly, movement becomes freer, and discomfort often diminishes naturally.
This can bring a greater sense of freedom, vitality, and enjoyment into everyday life.
The retreat offers time, calm, and support to immerse yourself in this learning process in the beautiful surroundings of Ørslev Kloster — a peaceful hidden gem filled with nature, silence, and presence.
Teaching is offered by three experienced Feldenkrais teachers — Lukas Ry, Christian Zemp, and Katharina Kamber — who have been developing and teaching together for many years.
In addition to daily group lessons, each participant will receive two individual hands-on sessions. With three teachers present throughout the retreat, there is space for personal attention and support for each participant’s individual process.
Teaching will be in Danish and English, with direct translation available when needed.
We will also enjoy delicious vegetarian meals lovingly prepared by chef Anni Guldborg.

There will be several breaks throughout the day with snacks and refreshments.
During the breaks, there will be opportunities for peaceful walks in the beautiful monastery surroundings.
