Release Your Neck, Shoulders & Jaw – A Feldenkrais Workshop (Århus)
18. April | 10:00 – 12:30
Many of us carry tension in the neck, shoulders, and jaw without even noticing it. Stress, posture habits, and long hours at the computer can create patterns of holding that make movement feel tight or effortful.
In this workshop you will explore the Feldenkrais Method, a gentle and effective approach to learning through movement. Through slow, guided movement explorations, you will be invited to notice how you move and discover easier, more comfortable ways of organizing your body.
Rather than stretching or forcing the body, Feldenkrais lessons use small and attentive movements that help the nervous system release unnecessary effort and find more efficient coordination.
Participants often experience:
• less tension in the neck and shoulders
• more comfort in the jaw and face
• easier breathing
• a sense of calm and relaxation
The workshop will include guided Awareness Through Movement® lessons, usually done lying on the floor or sitting comfortably. The movements are slow, gentle, and suitable for people of all ages and levels of experience.
No previous experience is needed. Wear comfortable clothes and bring your curiosity.
